This contemporary house, nestled in the redwoods on a spectacular 100 acre site overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is a collage of distinctive building shaped set along the rustic Northern California coastline. The environmentally sensitive house is constructed of all natural materials, celebrating the outdoors while capturing the spectacular views of the rugged coast. The rough-sawn cedar frame and standing-seam copper roofs create a series of lofty space which are equally dramatic inside and out. The exposed framing provides a rich yet rustic character for this cozy family residence. Meticulous attention to detail and design is evident in everything from hand forged door knobs to custom lighting fixtures. A guest house and garage have been added to the complex and plans for a barn and caretaker's quarters are underway.
