Wakeman Town Farm

Working with the Green Village Initiative (GVI) and the Town of Westport, construction was recently completed on the Wakeman Town Farm and Sustainability Center. The Wakeman Town Farm will serve as Westport's hub for the rapidly growing local food movement as the home to its Community and Restaurant Supported Agriculture (CSA & RSA) programs and as a hands-on laboratory for the Staples High School Environmental Science programs. Construction work included the renovation of the original 1908 farmhouse and stabilization of the original barn, which will now serve as the Sustainability Center.
